  • Description: A new moon begins to wax. A Royal Lion broods on his throne of bones. Pan awakens, and the ballet begins. Dithyrambos is the story of the persistence of chaos, how it sustains and delights us through its delicate balance with the forces of order. The performance is a poem set to movement, combining opera with clowning and ballet with pantomime.
