The Divas are an acapella women ensemble consisting of an eclectic group of NOLA singers, performers and community organizers. Pulling from a range of traditional singing from all over the world, the ladies bring funk and flavor in a front porch living room type tradition. With arrangements from West Africa, Bulgaria, spiritual song tradition, Appalachia, New Orleans jazz, Afro-Colombian and Brazilian, this group of women effortlessly bridges the gap between them all. The Divine Divas only meet amongst them selves under rare moonlight - surrounded by candles, wine, chocolate and story. Come join them on this rare occasion for the Fringe Festival.
